The Beatles were and still are the greatest pop group ever to have been on this earth. Their songs, still popular to this day, are a tribute to their collective genius. Each member of the group was highly talented musically, and fantastic song writers. Lennon was a genius, but so were McCartney, Harrison, and Starr. Each in their own way was musically gifted, but in combination something just totally magical happened. The music just flowed out of them. Many have speculated why the Beatles were so popular, but principally the main reason is this: their music appeals to all in society, young and old. For any group that can achieve that it's sky's the limit, and the Beatles did that. Note too how every single Beatles song sounds different. True variety, the spice of life.

God bless Paul McCartney. Just look how approachable he is. He is such a down to earth person, and totally for the music and the people. So much respect to Paul for that. He never forgot his working class roots. To be respected, loved, and cherished always. Just an ordinary guy with an extraordinary talent. Wherever he goes, he can still pack them in. The pub performance truly wonderful and akin to the London rooftop performance. Incredible. I so loved this. The rush those people in the bar must have had when they realised. Surprise! And this is just the sort of thing the Beatles would sometimes do. I feel sure all the other band members were there with Paul in spirit, because they would have loved doing this just as much as Paul did. The Beatles, so loved throughout the world, but in Liverpool literally legends of platinum. Remarkable. I think that Paul got so much out of this........like a trip back down memory lane to his roots. It would be good for Paul and Ringo to pull a few more stunts together just like this in Liverpool.
