I don’t know why I’m here. Unus Annus just closed down their channel and I’m feeling lost? I’m not sure what I’m feeling. But I just needed somewhere to go. Life’s weird like that. I’m sure a lot of the viewers are doing the same. Writing out their feelings on a video, knowing their comments are going to get buried by the algorithm. If there’s anything I’ve learned from UA is that I should be happy that I experienced it and move on from any regret I may carry. So, I will. I have a chronic illness that holds me back more often than not, but I hope it won’t stop me from living my best life. Memento Mori. I know I do.

The fact this was uploaded few weeks before Unus Annus. Wow memories :")) doesn't even feel forever ago.

I'm in a proud mother duck feeling rn. Seeing so many people crying or feeling denial (the first stage of the stages of grief, I been at acceptance for a long time already so this is all bittersweet but beautiful for me). It's exactly what Mark and Ethan and the team wanted. For us all to have an emotional attachment to Unus Annus. To actually feel with our hearts on beautiful content THEY put THEIR heart into.

But it's an important take away to remember, death is inevitable. So many of you wanted them to stop the clock, just like they expected bc of the emotional attachment over the year. But that's the thing, the lesson is that the clock NEVER stops for anyone. Don't let your days waste away, each second just ticking. Instead, actually just try to make the best of each moment and day. Like Mark said, your life CAN truly change in a year. And they've shown that! We've SEEN how much they've changed over the year (esp with the hair LMAO).

It's just so beautiful to me. Actually, this might be the first time ever that I've accepted that death is inevitable and that I'm not scared of death? I used to be the person who had a lot of anxiety over death and what happens afterwards. But after this lesson Unus Annus have taught me about death and all the moments of life leading up to it, and how bittersweet but beautiful this send off was, I'm.. not so scared of death anymore? This is the first time I've truly felt, thought and said this.

And now Unus Annus has truly inspired me as it have many of us, to truly take life not for granted and to actually live my life savouring and living in the present, trying to make the best of each day that I am BLESSED to have. Thank Mark, Ethan and Amy, thank you Unus Annus Team.

You have taught us so many lessons, whilst giving us so many laughs and joy and so many other natural emotions out of what was one of this generation's chaotic years ever.
