Marcelito got a well-deserved standing ovation. His tone, transitions, control and delivery were all spot-on. That crescendo vocal at the end was the cherry on top. He's a real virtuoso. I hope he blasts the roof rafters off when he sings in his mixed voice during the finale. It's been an exciting season since Marcelito arrived. He's one-of-a-kind and is one of the best performers. He could very well win this whole thing.

Many people don’t understand how extremely difficult this is.

He is switching from upper diaphragm, to lower diaphragm, switching vocal tones, switching breathing techniques, switching ranges, switching pitch, adjusting vibrato speed etc. He is doing all of these in a MILLISECOND. On top of that, he is singing some of the hardest songs ever... And the switch is very SMOOTH!

Not to mention... he was homeless most of his life. He is a self taught singer. Natural talent.

Now THAT is ONE of a kind.
