Everyone always talks about how brilliant David Tennant is on this show (which he is don't get me wrong, he's amazing in everything) - but Jessica Jones as a character is brilliant and deserves the recognition. Krysten Ritter is fantastic at portraying Jessica Jones and it's a nice departure from the "typical" superhero shows (especially with female characters). As is the case with 'The Dark Knight' - Christian Bale being brilliant but outshined by Heath Ledger, I think that Tennant just outshines her, despite her being a great character (common with Tennant). I like to recognize that both characters are brilliantly cast and I love how both of them are portrayed in the series.

Took me two tries to get into this show. Not because it isn't good, it's phenomenal. But it's not exactly a pleasant watch. Somehow even just sitting in front of the screen it manages to make you feel... violated somehow, which I guess is the point (and the whole Noir vibe doesn't add any pleasantness either). So hats off. It does what good fiction is supposed to, it allows you to explore an unfamiliar feeling in a safe context to give you a new perspective. Highly recommended if you can stomach it.

David tenant made me love and hate his character all at once, plus I love that it wasn't really more of a superhero show like daredevil and more of a crime drama with it being more focused on the story and not so much action(:

This show was so great, it needs some time to build up on you. Besides being a great superhero show, it's also a great psychological thriller.
The acting, pacing and writting in this show was so great.

The shots of Kilgrave "munipulating" his way into the house and closing that closet door are more tense and effective than anything Ultron did. I'm not an AoU hater either but if the shows have anything over the movies, it's the villians.

the show is so incredible and underrated.
Krysten Ritter is a fantastic actress which also participated in breaking bad, which is considerd one of the best shows ever made in the history of television, if not the best one. I feel like Jessica Jones is a balanced combination of fiction and reality. From one perspective you can say it's all about her powers and has nothing to do with reality, but on the other hand: the emotions, the PTSD Jessica is dealing with, confronting her mother in season three and so much more is what makes her a strong but also sensitive and vulnerable person. I wish the series got more recognition and credit for absolute amazing story of one of the most inspirational characters I met: Jessica Jones.

STarted watching it thinking it wasn't going to be that good... binge watched the entire first season over a weekend and now I don't know what I'm going to do with my life until season 2 comes out!

Personally the best show I've seen on Netflix. Couldn't get enough of Jessica's witty humor and character development. I didn't know whether to love killgrave because he's played by David Tennant or hate him because he's a psychopathic stalker in love with Jessica. Uggghhh loved it so much season 2 can't come out fast enough!

God damn this looks so good. Looks like they're going with the full adaptation and not watering Jessica down (YES!). Not spoiling anything for those unfamiliar but just know that you're gonna see some seriously messed up shit. Jess is a great character so it's about time she gets her on screen debut. Lmfao Supergirl is done for. Well done Marvel & Netflix!

Edit: I'm not a dumb fanboy. Love BOTH DC & Marvel but I hate Supergirl's approach so far. Hated the 1st episode. It's Devil Wears Prada with powers -.- Too cheesy and predictable along with bad, sterotypical writing.

2nd Edit: That better be the theme song, Netflix! It's so good!
