my two remaining brain cells arguing: 8:45
Mu*********:
7:30 is just my brain whenever I need to concentrate. Like homework or that math test or just driving down the road in traffic.
Ri*************:
3:38 Man this is straight fire.
Om******:
08:30....when I'm trying to describe a song I heard on the radio
At****:
8:35 - Expecting a dog danmed dance mosh (or a seated wiggle fest, at least).... 8:48 - It's a Ted Talk.
Ro****:
I believe everyone's reaction to the video is perfectly represented by the repeating word beginning from 8:55, and yet, just like the musical interpretation with which Sir Reggie Watts from the hood blessed us with, it was an utmost joyous and momentous occasion of pure brilliance in the ability to teach us something, while not saying anything cognitive throughout.
Kg****:
3:06 live switchers killing it
Ni*******:
He started doing the goove battle at 4:25
He**************:
2:29 for future reference Wish someone would clip it so I could add it to a music playlist I love Reggie

Actually saying nothing is a lot harder than you’d think.
Ah********:
Made me realize that good music really has nothing to do with meaning of lyrics

He sounds like me trying to reach a word minimum on an essay.

Reggie Watts describing anything just feels like me trying to write an essay. AKA just bullshitting about some stuff that vaguely makes sense and relates to the paper in which the comprehension of which sounds as if words are being described to the utmost degree. Understanding this is not only the most important thing, but it can help us greatly as we move through our daily lives. Conclusions do not matter here; all the matters is that we try to understand the philosophical nature of what it really means to be alive and conscious throughout personification of that greater concept which is this... time does not stop and if it did we would not be able to know. All we would know is that knowledge of not knowing can be the undoing of the foundations of time itself. Time is irrelevant, and so is English Composition II. Thanks Professor Harding.
Al*******************:
If you listen carefully to what he is saying (despite the forms) the message is quite profound: He assumes mortality, ignorance, freedom, consciousness, fear, etc. He states that, although science is constantly trying to discover how reality really works (he even mentions gravity and spacetime in the sphere-plain part), the purpose of life is not to be found in science and will not be discovered through AI. Instead, he defends to assume our free will as if it was authentic and live our life fully.
Br**********:
When he used comporary higher language, multiple languages and jargon, I felt out of the loop, out of the joke, and unable to quite grasp his meaning. When he used nonsense phrases and gibberish, coupled with compelling expression, I connected with the rise and fall of his intent. The jokes, in both parts, were jokes. You have to connect with people; you can't drown out their attention with higher associations and jargon. He's highlighting TED's strengths and teaching all of these leaders how to teach.
