I drive a 03 s10 and I run 87 for everyday driving, but every 1000 miles, I throw 93 high octane, and floor it every stop sign and red light. Clean her out and drive her loose. It drinks 93 like sugar, but I usually get amazing mileage on the tank afterwards, hi Chris!!

Watch your air cooled engines. My 1st motorcycle manual called for regular 87 octane, but with a passenger or on a hot 85 degrees + day it would ping/detonate, so I used a higher octane fuel.
