Br**************:
listening to his last piece, my ears kept trying to relate it to something I've heard before. When I realized I've never heading anything like it, it just sounded amazing! Truly, this guy is amazing!

Fu**********:
This guy has the funniest looking normal face ever.

ha***:
Impressive, but can you-

Wrong channel.

Ri*******************:
I see lots of complaints here. But he is young. Perhaps his music will developer some soul as he grows older. He definitely has speed and accuracy, and learns very fast.

Go******:
I want to see more piano!

Ma************:
I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought that was freaking amazing

Jo**********:
Was this a TED talk or a video biography?

Jo**********:

“Guys look. I AM THE INTERNET.” Basically...

Ch***********:

Seems very talented, though I feel like having seen such talents online like a 1000 times

Da****:

Talent!!
LOL some people here in the comment section are all about envy and yet they can't do nothing or the least of what he has done lol

Ac******:
He is showcasing the ability that us humans of the 21st century have, of learning everything we want. This is the century of limitless knowledge at our fingertips, for the first time in all human history.

Ae***:
So good and the fact that he learned everything from the internet motivates me to a great extent. GG man

Sy*************:
was more of a humblebrag showoff until he started the animation studio

Ze**********:

It saddens me to see people who proclaim themselves as "musicians" ridiculing this guy. Music isn't a competition of who's better or belittling each others creations/talents.

As***********************:

If you can't play like him just find something wrong with him. The mentality of a loser. Seams life is full of them.

Ra**********:

"It's about the music, it's not about just showing people what you can do with a piece of wood with strings on it"

John Frusciante

Mu************:
I'm not jealous or anything so let me type this loooooong paragraph on how not jealous I am

Me******:

Sadly Tedx doesn't know who Rob Scallon is.

ro*********:
people ALWAYS refer to ACQUIRED skills as Genius...NO! NOT finding them and assimilating them is LAZINESS when the Knowledge for ALL these things is readily AVAILABLE...think about it. That is his point!

Wo********************************:

Yeah... well... I'd like to see him try to play wonderwall!

Co*********:

There are many ways to categorize arts: new, talented, professional, etc. This guy could be epic. Hats off to him. Keep it up

Hi******************:
That's impressive, but can he do it on a cold rainy night in stoke...

Ja*******:

Am I the only one who thinks he looks and sounds like a Pakistani Andrew Garfield

st*********:
People don't seem to understand that he didn't do what he did just by "watching the internet". As he said in the beginning he was trained in piano since he was six, meaning by the time he had a deep understanding of music theory and a developed musical ear. Using these, he was able to examine the placement of people's handling of the instrument and listen to and pick apart a chord to figure out how it works. While this is no small feat and this guy deserves every drop of praise he gets, people need to understand you can't reach that level of skill just by "watching the Internet".

Ka***:
To the people who say his rhythms were off while playing guitar, who's to say he wasn't playing diverse time signatures. You don't know what he was trying to do, other than to entertain. The same goes for the repetition in his solos. Bach used themes/choruses whatever you'd like to call it, and so does nearly every composer out there. This kid just added some tasteful harmonic and rhythmic variety to each of his themes. Its obvious when you're jealous, just don't talk out of your ass like you know anything.

jo*********:
Maybe my comment will pass unnoticed or maybe it will be attacked.. either way I am not affected by the outcome. I would like to leave a mark on the wall of the labyrinth of this reality in an attempt to help anyone who searches for a way out.
What is evident from looking through the comments and at the title of this video is that categorical judgement is rife. It saddens me greatly for it to be so.

A point has come in  life when I feel torn between realities, I am not sure to what extent free will exists or if it even exists at all. But, my mind seems to lean towards its non existence. My life experience has led me to be what I am right at this moment, what you are reading is an expression of my life, to say that I am actively creating the idea of what to say in this post would be a lie. A lie created and fulfilled by ego.

The ego is what is being spoke of in this post, at a glance the ego seems to be the voice most prevalent in each youtube comment section. We hear a perpetuation of the negative term egotist and it is quickly thrown to belittle. But many do not seem to fully grasp the idea or the true concept of what the ego is. An example of the egos voice from the comment section would be "I play six instruments yada yada yada..." or "he's not a genius". First example is a search for  social validation and the second is a judgement.

A true "genius" would not say he is a genius because for a genius to truly be the death of the ego must take place. But what is the ego I talk about. In my case it would be Josh Kelly. Josh Kelly is an 18 year old guy who (insert ego story here). What I truly am is not what I am called or what I appear to be, what I truly am is something much more profound. I am a conscious observer. What I am is an infinitesimally small expression of the master consciousness which gives me life. Conscious awareness  is my soul/spirit or what ever name you wish to give it. Josh Kelly is a finger puppet placed upon the hand of consciousness. If you live as your ego (which is just your experience, it is just an illusion), put faith in your ego and try to fill your egos desires you will find yourself at a constant loss. The finger puppet is just the hand which controls it. This is what my life has become, an awareness of what I am. I could talk about how smart I am, my IQ, the instruments I play, my linguistic or artistic abilities but they do not exist. Because the finger puppet is what the hand wants it to be. If you live as the hand and not as the puppet, you will move a lot closer to this "genius" quality spoken of throughout society. But if you continue to live as your ego or the finger puppet you will be condemned to a life of duality.

No more needs to be said, for those who are ready this information will weaken the power ego has on you. To others, you will feel attacked because biologically these words are attacking your belief system. Love, forgive and judge not, for the puppet knows nothing.
