I think I figured out the story.
There was a robbery at the bank, Adam Levine who was the leader of the robbery was there for a year to spy the security of the bank. But, he fell in love with the woman. During the day of the robbery, he betrayed them to save his love, so his friend shoot him, the cop also shoot him because he is the leader of the robbers. Now, he lost all of things, his love, friends and job. He on a payphone to tell someone that he is fine.
