People can say whatever they want about "the teenage life" but to be honest, I was so happy. My friends and I (who are still friends even tho we live in different cities) used to "roll" on the streets of our little home town in Mexico, with this song on the stereo. I had my first love at 17 and yes, life drove us apart, now I'm engaged to an awesome man who's the love of my life. But the thing is, I was so in love with life and at the same time, it was so hard to live in those years... Now everything seems like a sweet memory. On of my best friends died some yesrs ago, but I remember him in HS bringing some mazapanes to me, and my first love and I being all scary of kissing each other cause we were both first-everything to each other. I remember him with love and grace, and I hope his life can be even better now, He was my teenage dream, I was his. And now life is different and only sweet memories remains. Thank you Katy, for this amazing song.

I Never got a chance to Thank Katy Perry for a Video she made for my daughter to lift her Spirits during the time she was fighting her Cancer in 2011-2012...
In the video Katy Perry made for her she acknowledged her and said that she heard she was sick and also heard that her song (Firework) was my daughters favorite song so she sang that song to her ...
My daughter of course was ecstatic when she saw her favorite singer singing her favorite song...
They ended playing this Katy Perry Song at her Funeral...
There was a Million People at her  Funeral...I've never seen so many people in my life at a Funeral... And the procession to get to the Cemetery was as if she was the  President  getting escorted there. Shutting down Highways and Stopping any traffic...
My Daughter was a Special Angel...

I'm 24 now, this song was popular when I was like 14-16, being that age and in high school when this type of music was incredible... I remember hearing this song at my first house parties and ALL the chicks would go crazy and sing to this. It was truly an amazing time to be a teenager, everything was so much happier and brighter back then. Even as the song title says "teenage dream" . No troubles or worries or ANYTHING. Just enjoying the moment, having fun and getting drunk. Now we're all in our 20's and everything is just dark and cynical now. Don't take your teenagehood for granted, one day you'll wake up and it's gone like that.

im a teen but i really dont like being one, seeing comments and people missing, the good old days, i just think as a teen if something goes wrong, u cant handle it as ur not old enough, but ur also not young enough that the problems will cost u nothing. like lets say i failed a few tests, no matter what my mom will still beat me up and ill still be bullied for getting bad grades, but like thats not all, that faliure will not let me get into a good collage and ruin my future. everything is hanging by a thread at this age
