This is a very interesting clip in the sense that masculinity is represented in the traditional way but with a modern aesthetic, and where the woman is the protagonist so we get her point of view, and both video and song production is neat. Love it

This is just a biblical allusion of toxic masculinity. Jesus represents a good man while Judas represents a toxic man. Even if Gaga is being betrayed "three times", she talks about how she's still in love with men that turns out to be toxic. Men have been betraying women for ages and when they do, the blame always go to the women just like how Gaga is killed at the ending in reference to Mary Magdalene. Women are blamed for men's toxicity. Jesus is her virtue but Judas is the demon she clings to. Direct reference to the bible and the relugion in general talks about how the religion is an enabler for these values. However, with this song she said "I'll bring him down, bring him down down" and I think she succeeded. She was the first few artists to call out toxic masculinity in an artistic manner.

If you say "We were not ready for gaga." Well, she is the reason we are ready. She changed style, music, fashion, love, happiness, confidence, she inspired millions to come out as gay, she gave people the confidence to become famous, to express themselves, she changed art, she made people be different, she made the world grow up, if it weren't for her we would be stuck on black eyeliner. music would be irrelevant, gays would still be outcasts. The world would be a different place, many artists would not be famous. Gaga changed the world, one sequin at a time.
