I’ll say this every time i have the chance: We will never have something like this again. This whole era, where Britney Spears ruled the world, Popstars were Popstars and not clowns, where singers like Lady Gaga shocked the whole world with their performances, songs were fucking good and not the same lame thing again and again.
As the internet & social media came more in the picture, things changed forever. The iconic times are definitely over and i think we will never relieve legendary pop culture times.
Things started going downhill in 2014/15, maybe even before...
Nowadays I can’t name 1 single artist that has been in the game for the last 5 years that i really appreciate. No one that really impacted the industry. Just trash.
IMO artists aren’t what they used to be. And they won’t be for a very long time.
