I actually hate coming back to these songs now that it's 2019 and we see what he's become. I absolutely love every song he comes out with as much as ever, don't get me wrong. He's just so different, everything from his actual music to his rapping is just a complete 180, nothing like what he used to be. Whether that be for better or for worse, his new shit is just an embodiment of his status now. He knows that everything he comes out with or touches is fire, no matter what, so that makes his current music a little less than what it was in the past. I still know every single lyric to every single song on this album, still my favorite when he was just starting to rise up

I was 7, about to turn 8. school year just ended, finished 2nd grade after a very chaotic school year and alot of moving (I was in a car accident as well that year, almost died). summer was there, going outside was something I did often. I was innocent, and knew how to make fun out of any situation... now it's been 10 years. I just turned 18 not too long ago, and Idfk where life is going. but... at least songs like this, let me escape the present day and travel back to being a kid. nostalgia hurts
