I feel like everyone forgot this part of the album and film. (Jay Z) Life gave her a shitty situation but she worked through it and made lemonade from lemons. Marriage is about working through your problems and making it work because that's the promise you make . This is why I love Lemonade so much.

I still don't understand how an album of this magnitude that tells a complete story does not win Album of the Year. I think Adele is great but Adele sings the same song over and over again. Beyonce created a different song and feeling to every track on Lemonade but still kept it all connected. The album literally tells a woman's journey from love to heartbreak to recovery to reconciliation. Adele is still trying to get someone to answer her phone, for like 8 tracks. SMH

I had to cry. LEMONADE best ALBUM of the last 20 years. And maybe one of the best of history.

When i first heard that song i was at home (well, i was where i lived at that time in Japan), it was morning and i was getting ready to go to work. This song touched me so much (especially the intro when she talks about her grand mother), i untied my necktie, put on a pair of denims instead of that stupid suit, texted the person i was seeing then to say that i was going to be out of reach for a while but not to worry at all, and left the mobile on the table, threw a coat in a bag and went straight to the airport and took the first flight to any place in Scandinavia after calling my boss to say that i need a break for a while and that if that meant i was fired, then so was it. Then from Stockholm i took the first flight i could find to Iceland (home), and went straight to my grand mother's house where i had spent the best years of my life and spent the next 3 months with her. No internet, no phones nothing just my grand mother and me. After those three months i was indestructible, i flew back to Japan, packed all my shit, went to see the person i was still seeing and said that i was leaving Japan and to decide if we were leaving together or not. I said that i wouldn't wait for more than one week for the answer and that after that i would be gone but that i hoped i wouldn't be leaving alone.
After one week we were on a flight back home.
All because of one song.
Had i stayed in Japan my life would be completely different today and very possibly not in a great way, so Bey, in a way you saved it. My grand mother always told me one thing (Nothing is random and everything happens for a reason and for the best, even the worst things, especially the worst things).
This song is one of the best things that happened to me and it led to even better things.
