As a little kid I saw an episode of Dragon Tales on PBS where the two headed dragon pinched itself during a shot to make it not hurt. Two decades later despite being a grown adult I still do this every month when I get my blood drawn.

Man, PBS was pretty much most of my childhood and then some and I am not ashamed to admit it.

Arthur was a really good show, and the spin-off they did called Postcards From Buster was pretty good too. They didn't have any wacky or zany premises to them. The characters went through basic everyday life situations and were way more relatable than just about any other show.

Though my favorite show was Zaboomafoo. Zoom was a close second but I loved Zaboomfaoo. If they still aired it...even if they were just re-runs of old episodes, I would still watch that show. Their newer show they have now, Wild Kratts, is pretty damn good and a really interesting concept with the whole "using animal powers to save the day".
