I had this in 5th grade and it was called "The Invention Convention" and it sucked most of us didn't understand what we were supposed to do.

According to the Farmer's Almanac: "The hottest time of the day is around 3 p.m. Heat continues building up after noon, when the sun is highest in the sky, as long as more heat is arriving at the earth than leaving. Me in English: I can infer that when the author uses the descriptive phrase 'the sky is blue' they truthfully mean that the joys of summer spread over the character like a protective blanket; the blue sky.

In 8th grade my school did a science fair. My friend had his mom do his entire project. The local newspaper thought it was great so they had an article about it in the paper. My friend bragged about it for weeks. We aren't friends anymore.

My school has a science fair I just don’t participate

okay so, when i went to school, it was a combination elementary and middle school, and it was a catholic school, so they obviously weren't that big on science (LOL) but when i was little, the person in charge was called Head Teacher and she had all these REALLY fun activities that kids would do throughout the year and it was super-duper fun and one of the things was the science fair. but it was only the science fair if you were in 7th or 8th grade. for everyone else, it was called the I Am Unique Fair, and you could do WHATEVER THE HELL YOU WANTED as an entry. i remember my entry was i drew all 150 pokemon because that's how many there were at the time. then the Head Teacher retired and was replaced by this guy who took the more pretentious title of Principal, cancelled all the fun days, and now the science fair was a science fair for everyone. we all hated that guy!

So my 8th grade year I did a science fair project. Trying to prove that only certain fruits would turn into gelatin. I tested cranberries to prove this this theory since cranberries have pectin. Long story short I ended up getting grand champion for the physical science category.

Flash a few years later when I was in highschool and was told my junior or senior year I had to do science fair again. I thought okay I’ll redo the one I did with the cranberries. But revamp it and make it more detailed. My teacher approved it. BUT CRANBERRIES ARE ONLY SEASONAL. I was doing my experiment in May. I couldn’t find them anywhere. I ended up just taking some fruit. Put them in jello and proved how only certain fruit can be used for jello salad.

I did a Science Fair once on "Do Video Games cause Violence?" I was able to prove that video games do not directly lead to more aggressive behavior, and that it's mental health problems that do.
Of course, the judges were a bunch of boomers, so they didn't really like the outcome. They didn't show it, but I could just tell.
But you wanna know who won? My friend gets an honorable mention for making homemade bread, and the girl who gets first place just did research on jellyfish. What?!

Let me ask you guys a general question: What's more interesting to you?
-Someone finally solving a question that's been around since the 90's
-or how to make homemade bread and learning about jellyfish?
