There was a time where I was so set on killing myself. Wrote my mom a goodbye letter, telling her I’m sorry for the pain me leaving might cause her. Called the small amount of friends I had left and told them thank you for helping me. Planned on driving to a bridge and jumping off. On the drive there, I started playing music, and this song came on my random playlist. Started REALLY hearing the lyrics and that’s where me healing started. Turned the car around went back home and had a long talk with my mom.

Now, I’m in a much better headspace - and even became a crisis counselor to help others in situations like that.
