My daughter had a speech therapist same one for three years. she was so attentive and even though on the second year my daughter was speaking not only better than most students she was speaking more intelligently. She added another year just to make sure. the teacher ended up getting a huge box of makeup and other beauty products and a big hug for me and my daughter. because let's face it if my daughter spoke the same way she did as an adult do you really think employers would take her seriously? probably not I owe a lot to that teacher. And even though my daughter started with speech therapy and a IEP now she has a 504 but she's one of the top students in her class!!! And I truly believe because of that speech therapist she learned hard work really does pay off.
