The trick is to start early so you can do it for longer and get more candy i started at 7:30 and we had together the CAR AND A TOY BIN to make sure it would collapse while walking house to house

to get more candy try using a distraction, for example, "trick or treat" (person hands out candy to you) then say a distraction " is that your cat behind you" then grab a handful and run for your life with the king sized candy and eat it for the DUB=WIN

In my take here us what I would do:
Step 1: Get a costume, like literally any costume
Step 2: Go to the richest side of town or county you are in
Step 3: Go to doors with large groups (Yeah I know the corona is still out there but bear with me)
Step 4: Grab a handful and book it

My trick would be to have you switch costumes while visiting a neighborhood, with at least one obscuring your face, so you can go around pretending you're another kid. You could try this with friends, assuming their costume isn't distinct and is generic.

There used to be this one house that had a bright yellow sign on the door that said "please take off your shoes." but because you couldn't see the writing from the footpath everybody used to think the sign said "not doing Halloween" and they used to pass it by.
Every year without fail at the end of my night I would go up to that house and EVERY year the lady would say how disappointed she was in the turn out and literally she would tip her whole bowl into my bag..

Here's another trick: make sure you have more than 1 costume cuz you're gonna need it. Once you are done trick or treating on one house, change into another costume and go to the same house again. Make sure they don't recognize you by adding face paint makeup or a mask, just basically anything to cover up your face. My friend used this trick so she can get more candy from the same house (use this trick on houses that have good candy)
