This song brings all those memories back from 2011 and 2012 back to me like it was yesterday. I felt as though they were my prime years everyone was just in the moment. This song reminds me of so many things. It reminds me of so many girls I could have and should have had memories with. It reminds me of my boys trip to Newquay, United Kingdom when we drove 7 hours to go to the beach only for it to rain and cats and dogs when we finally got there. It reminds me of some of the most depressing times in my life as well as some of the happiest. It reminds me of being so naive to the world. So many memories from just one song. This is why for me Drake is the greatest artist to ever do it. The Soundtrack to my life since 2009.

This song is the type of song that:Will make you text an ex. Inspire deep thought. Bring back memories. Make you leave it on repeat for days. Make you wonder why he doesn't put out more product like this. Honestly, best drake song to date in my opinion. I understand he has to make "hits" to appeal to the masses but if we had an album full of songs like this. For those of us who don't care as much for the hits could appreciate an album like that for decades on in. I'm still listening to So Far Gone and the Warm Up from J. Cole.

I remember listening to this in middle school. My best friend at the time had just introduced me to "Drake". Never before had I heard such a smooth, sincere voice impact my young soul. I NEEDED to know the name of this artist.
This tack however, multiplied the emotions that I've held bottled up. Mostly love, lust, and a void of deeper meaning.
I know this might sound crazy, but this has shaped me into the very person I am today.
Something about that time in my life, reached an equilibrium. A climax. It's unfortunate that people growing up in this unfair world will NEVER experience something like this, like I had.
Also, RIP good music. May the 2000s be with you.
