While traveling through the worlds in spirit, he was chased by the shadow folk, who wanted to wake up from their nightmare, he came across a world yet to reach technological feats, but entered with no other choice of survival, when he entered the world through one in a coma who looked like their previous self, this person was now stuck there with no form of sleep tech to travel back to his home, this person lived his life and died telling his new family about his old home and how he got here from another universe.

"Here lies a traveler between worlds, whose name is unknown. May his curious soul find a way home, like you have found his resting place."

This man both hates and loves the company that brought him in his world, away from his old family and loved ones, but in a new life without trouble and pain.

The name of he company that brought him here?

Sidereal Plexus

I think something like this happened, though I'll never know for sure.

"Grandpa, how long has that Statue been there?" The young child asked. The elder smiled and looked over to where the stone, hard, silver, statue sat. It sat in the grain, some say it even planted it.

"Well, 30 years ago our civilization has just started to grow. We're we ever hungry and cold, we waited for a miracle to happen. A miracle to bring us food. Then, one bright winter day, a figure came. The figure ventured far, then stood still, with a puzzled look planted on its grey face. Then it moved to another place. After a year it came back, wielding some grain. It took and planted the grain several times. Then sat and it waited... Well, for us to eat it I supposed. Even though we have but it is most likely blind due to its stone eyes." The old man shrugged. He sighed and relaxed while looking down at the youth.

"That's it?" the child asked. The elder nodded his head as he chuckled. Until they both heard a yell. The child and elder rushed to open the door. And there they saw, the statue. It was standing and...Yelling.

Hey marki!!, if you liked the concept of this game, you should try one called "The Company of Myself" it's got an amazing concept and plot behind it and the 'graphics' are similar to this game. I enjoyed it a lot on newgrounds and the ending blew my mind.

For those of you that are wondering, the Tombstone was a reference to another scriptwelder game “A Small Talk at the End of Beyond” about an an astronaut(you) stuck with an AI that is afraid to die alone, on board a small spaceship that is about to crash into a star. In one of the endings, the astronaut chooses to leave the AI and jettison himself into the endless expanse of space in an escape pod. The AI tells you only have a 0.13 chance of survival, but it seems that the traveler between stars survived and landed on Earth.

There was a comment I read when I was watching this a few months ago that explained what this game might've been based off of. If I remember correctly, it was a folklore that went like this:

- Many years ago in northern North America (or Canada before they were colonized). There lived a small tribe of native Americans and they were starving. One day, a giant rock appeared in their village and many assumed it must've gotten there while they were asleep overnight. They described this rock as having a face. And in many cases when these unnatural occurrences happened in nature, such as a rock having a face, the native Americans would worship them as signs from their gods. And in doing so, they would give them some sort of offering, and in most cases it would be food. But the tribe was starving and had little food, instead the tribe gave any food they had to their chief leader so he could live. The story varies here but it's described that the Rock with a Face did not spite the Native Americans for not giving it any offerings. And every day since it arrived in the village, it would noticeably move from its original spot by a little bit. No one could understand this phenomenon because none of them were strong enough to move the giant Rock with a Face, and if they could, they would have still been to weak from hunger to push it. 10 years later, the rock had completely vanished and none of the people knew where it went. And in its path which it moved, within their village, food was growing abundantly.
Flash forward a few centuries to 2012, a group of researchers discovered a volcano in Canada. They observed that the volcano should have erupted many years ago, and if it did, a large part of North America would have been destroyed. However now that it has been so long, it is no longer active. They discovered that in one of the critical-erupting points inside of the volcano, it was blocked shut by a large rock different from the rock the volcano was made of -- and it had a face. We have no clue whether this Rock with a Face really had an impact in stopping the eruption of this volcano.
However, now this folklore has been retold that the Rock with a Face was possessed by spirits of the tribe that, in one lifetime, died from the volcano and came back to protect this lifetime of themselves so they could live and so a future could exist. On top of the Rock with a Face, there were two words engraved on it, where no one could see it because they would've been too short when standing beside it. It read (American translation:) "nomad" and "universe". Anyone who is culturally and ethnically multilingual know that words can have connotative meaning that can be lost through translation. "Nomad" and "universe" could have a deeper meaning.

Sorry if I got any facts wrong, like idk if native Americans worshipped gods.

I think the monument in the end is there to honor the player themselves by breaking the fourth wall-- you being the traveler between worlds (real world and game world) who has died from saving everyone from the volcano. And since it is a secret location, an easter egg, the player can be qualified as a curious person who's never satisfied with the conclusion that's handed to him, therefore the game wishes them to "find a way home", to a place where they could finally be at peace and stop looking for answers to questions that might not be there. That's why the monument is a tombstone, because it's literally the death of the player's curiosity, if you reached that point, there's nothing more you can do to explore the game.

That's how I see it anyway.

Ni************:
The statue stood there near the edge of town. No one knew who made it. One year it moved closer to the lake. A few people claimed it had moved but it couldn't be true. They all wondered who moved it. The people who claimed it had moved were not strong enough to move it themselves. But no one thought anything of it. They started to build a bridge over the lake where the statue stood. The town was very proud of it. All the people went to the other side of town to celebrate. Just as a young boy was about to head over he looked back at the statute. He had been told stories of how it just appeared and moved magically one day. His grandpa had told him this all. As he stared at the statue fascinated he saw it's old stone body move. He watched it walk out over the bridge. He should have started screaming yelling "that- the statue!" But he didn't. "Was that what it was here for? To cross that lake? He would have sunk just walking into the water..." He stared for just a moment longer before his mother called him over. From that day forward he'd write stories and tell them to his friends and siblings of the great stone statue who learned sometimes you just have to wait. Everyone wondered where the statue had gone but thought nothing of it. They thought the boy was "a young creative mind" but he knew the truth. He grew up to be one of if not the best story teller. He told his kids of the giant stone statue then his grandkids and they told their kids and grandkids. All well the giant statue moved on that little town seeming like nothing even though he had done so much, by doing nothing.
