So what he does is he ACTUALLY jumps over the railing and lands on top of the air vent system. Then he bends down and wraps his arms around the pipe for a few seconds and uses the horizontal bar to place his feet on, then he shimmies down the pipe until his hands can be placed on the horizontal bar, then he drops from there to the ground with no injury at all.
