So this is a quick story time. Back in 2015 I was working at the Inglewood Forum and was a housekeeper/janitor. I cleaned Drake’s dressing room with my co-worker. Before he got on stage he prayed with his team and told us to pray too lol. He is humble asf! But his dad was nice and rude to me towards the end of the night. He called me the “sweeper” when I was sweeping the popcorn. As I was walking to our break room Drake’s dad said “The Sweeeeeeeper” really LOUD! I don’t remember anyone laughing but him. He apologized to me on IG. But I still feel that was disrespectful to say that to young black woman just trying to earn enough to feed my family. But aside from that, THAT was a great experience meeting Drake and tons of other celebrities that came to his concert.
