cleaning an engine is so under rated, a dirty engine bay is a hot engine bay, and an overly hot engine is a dying engine. Great video!

Who else watches these kind of car videos but doesn’t have a car

Ke************:
Great video dude. I'm a professional mechanic for Lamborghini and Aston Martin Beverly hills. I wanted to let you (and everyone else) know that in my professional opinion, from a mechanical standpoint, every caution and every recommendation was accurate. (About covering the engine, not spraying connectors and the components you mentioned with high pressure water, using the right protectant for plastics and rubber) seriously... well done. I learned a couple things too. :)

BE*****************:
So much effort in that video, damn :D

Ka************:

Chris: "This should take you 2 hours"
Me: This little maneuver is gonna cost us 51 years

Really impressive video, informative, love the energy and filming style - Top notch work!

To**********:

Important to remember for newer "mechanics" do not use normal vacume cleaner on any water at all, use a industial or one made for wet conditions/water, and remember to change out the filter to water "mode" on your industial vacume, there is a difference there to =)

And yes I know, most likely 90% of you are sitting there thinking, "ehh you shuld not have to say that to people, they know", well there are the once that are brand new to this and hear "just use the vacume and vacumt it all away" and do it with a inside dust cleaner =) That is instant regrets (or postponed smell problem and just a bad time).

All in all awesome video and will use some of the tips from it on my 2000 Toyota Celica that I am restoring =) Will be nice to get it a nice and fresh looking engine bay =) Killed all rust now, so now we are on to paint, details, interior and some small mechanical stuff here and there, so faar it looks realy good for the price =)

Sa*********:
Chris i absolutely love your videos! They are easy to follow and accurately informative. You are very thorough and always show high quality teaching i can actually follow and feel confidant about. It is nearly impossible to find this integrity, quality, safety, eco conscious and proper handling, and so very knowledgeable. I am a journeyman electrician and now i am a mechanic well at least ive been able to fullfill my dream of learning to and begin working and renewing my 1994 ford f150 XLT. Seriously wow, i hope you are rewarded with success you Definitely deserve!!!

Hey Maaaan... as an old time car guy, I really enjoyed this vid - But more, I enjoyed your PRESENTATION! No slacker dude with his dog barking constantly in the background, and forgetting his lines, and the wind blowing across the mic, etc... EASY to understand every step and process... GREAT cam and audio work and excellent editing!!! You can not only be proud of your detailing, but proud of the work that went into this DIY vid! Phunny enuf, I was just thinking about cleaning up the engine bay on my '90 Olds a few days ago when I changed the oil.... now I know - it HAS to be done! Thanks, Chris.
