Even more sad, the reason Adam Savage signed on for the show was because Jamie Hyneman asked him to co host with him because he felt he would make the show too boring if he did it by himself.

THIS is a perfect example of how human beings should act towards each other. They don't have to like each other to get along, but they do "get along" and do so professionally.

So they're not friends, but they don't hate each other either. They just felt it was time to move on to other projects. They have neither love nor hate for each other. In a word their feeling for each other is a "meh" with respect.

Both of these men are a class act. Adam for his honesty and Jamie for his patience, should be shown as an example of how to get along.

Maybe the real myth was the friends we made along the way.

To be honest I feel more sorry for Jamie.

I'm definitely no Adam Savage, I'm not nearly as out and personable as him. But as someone who relates more to Jamie, it saddens me to think they don't like each other, because I love my friends and coworkers who are on that other side.

I would be miserable without those other people balancing things out, and the work I do and they do is so beautiful, and I appreciate and need everyone's help to work as a team, that to hear Jamie doesn't feel that way after the show makes me feel sad that he is like that.

I'm sure he's happy, and if he does want to hang out with Adam, I'm sure he would come running.

It's just hard to empathize with that state of mind, because it makes me so sad to even try to empathize.

That was perfectly honest, truthful, and straightforward. I have immense respect for that. After all, we don't have to like everyone and admitting that you don't like someone without blame or hate is a very mature, intelligent thing to do.
