I decided to rewatch this after a long night at work where my boss screwed me over big time. I asked for a weekend off so I can host my best friend’s 21st birthday a month in advance, boss said yeah that’s fine. 4 weeks and 2 reminders from me later, I look at the weekly work schedule and I don’t have the weekend. All the while my asshole coworker from the deepest depths of hell gets the entire week off, which he just asked for a few days earlier. I then have to negotiate with my boss to try and reschedule the days off, only to have him give me shit for “requesting too many days off”, and gives me one less day off than I originally asked. To make things worse the dates don’t work out for my friend who’s birthday it is. That’s right, he’s giving me shit about getting days off when he “forgot” my request and ignored my texts and ruined my best friend’s party, which he is now hosting last minute, and I can’t go to because I’m working that day...
