For the people who aren't familiriazed with the beatbox community, I'd like to inform that high level beatboxers like Tom Thum, don't let their mouths make contact with the microphone or spit on it, at any given moment. The microphone stays dry, mainly because they are blocking the mouth and the saliva with their hands, thus, preventing the touch between mouth and microphone.
