Watching episode 6, I did assume this episode is gonna blow up, but the amount of critical acclaim it received is nothing short of an appraisal. It definitely serves justice to Jackson's modern classic.

I loved how this series eloquently build up the suspense throughout the show, which makes the rather flat ending quite a disappointment. This is a captivating series nonetheless!

Remember Actors don’t always go by the script lines, they sometimes they just say what the character would say or do. Sometimes the director will tell the actor(s) to just roll with it and don’t say what’s on the script because a change was made.

this episode gave me such a weird feeling. I watched it a couple months ago and it still freaks me out and I usually just laugh during horror movies/ series

this is genius in every way. this entire show is genius but the making of this episode is mind-blowing. the blocking is on a whole other level, the cues, the camera movements. and kudos to the actors too, really, great stuff.

This is show has left me very impressed and shocked. It!s twist and turns, beginning, and ending are all just amazing. The characters are great an relatable. The story fits in perfectly, some jumps areas are unexpected, (SPOILER ALERT), like that Nell jumpscare in Season 1, Episode 8 when Theo and Shirley are fighting on their way to Hill House. The show is suspenful, binge-worthy and stunning. Can’t wait for Season 2 next year.

This reminds me of the old days like “ singing in the rain”and “rope” (i took a film class which was a lot more interesting than I thought it’d be lol) this is super cool and mad respect for the actors and whole cast really that makes it happen

This show has a good side and a bad side. The good side is that it's one of a lifetime finding, the bad is that it makes any other series shitty to me and I can't enjoy anything else.

One take scenes are incredibly exhausting, especially when there are moving parts, like set and lighting changes, etc. I did art for a 8min Long one take short film, where we had to work basically in the dark in a room that could only fit the dp (cam), the actress, 2 art people. The gaffer (lighting) was leaning out the window from the room next door and so was another art assist to pass the actress a prop. We took an entire night to shoot it (it was a night scene) and over 20 takes (there were A LOT of line. Mad props to the cast & crew in this show

What I really love about this scene is how [SPOILER] we watch the situation through the eyes of the bend-neck lady. As seen in the flashback, no one was able to see the little girl, and the same thing happened to the ghost. After this reveal, my jaw dropped. It was honestly surprising and tragic, and that one episode gained the show more respect then before. The pacing is horrible, but after every major character got his own episode in the show, and this reunion happened, the show really started to be good.
