This video made me cry due to the way society has reflected on my appearance. The vision inside our heads of ourselves is what makes us this way. What others think of us is nearly a repeat of how you shoulkd be in order to be beautiful.

Well this is ironic because Beyonce herself is one of those who promotes the "pressure" that is put on young women. Her lightened and airbrushed skin on every magazine cover/advertisement, her showing off her hourglass body - is the proof.

Pretty Hurts is also a story of her own life.. Beyoncé has worked her ass off since 16, normal people don't venture into careers until their 20s after college. Beyoncé is a household name and people hold her to high values so she has to represent for the people that support her. That burden on her shoulders is heavy. She barely gets rest, especially during album launches and tours. She works hard for her legacy.

Everyone expects her to be perfect because she displays perfection. But who wouldn't go on the job they love and perform perfectly?

Pretty Hurts. Rumors hurt. Beyoncé is an entertainer, a student, a teacher, a daughter, a mother, a businesswoman, a singer, a powerhouse, a HUMAN.

The song is so powerful and inspirational alone but the music video is so much more, it is the most realistic music video there probably is which shows girls who want to be like the model that they see walk down the catwalk that it's not all glamour and behind everything being pretty hurts, nobody is perfect and most models that look flawless have to go through all this pain and struggle to look like they do and girls shouldn't try to be like that, anyone who would disagree about Beyoncé being a idol and inspiration well ur argument is invalid because the pretty hurts music video is basically the truth, we love u so much Beyoncé

There was a song called " Pretty Hurts " by Sia
Beyoncé was a beautiful singer she had loads of attention
But she always tried and tried and tried but it never worked because she wasn't believing in her self.
Then she turned it all around beauty does not make attention and dose not make happiness being you brings you happiness because no one tells you what to do beauty is just a word IT'S JUST A WORD just seeing Beyoncé out there makes her happy because she is just being her she is not being anything but her she can dress how she wants and you can't tell her what to do it there choice just be you and you will be sooooo fine trust me Beyoncé is a great person happiness can beat beauty and beauty is just a word people use beauty for being mean because if your saying I'm more pretty then that's just wrong just you that matters I'm doing a project on being you not pretty. Pretty is mean and mean is beauty.pretty is just wrong but Beyoncé is awesome and awesomeness is just a word!
