* 9:27 - Sand rust/jagged edges (P400)
* 10:03 - Sand edges smooth; wipe with alcohol (P800/P1000)
14:00 - Tape off 1-2mm away from scratch
* 14:54 - Paint several thin coats to fill scratch higher than surrounding paint (~5 minutes between coats)
17:29 - Peel tape on itself at 45 degree angle after drying 10 minutes. Let dry for an hour after peeling tape.
* 19:02 - Wet sand with soapy water until smooth, fill in any holes, alcohol wipe
22:01 - 2 clear coat, 10 minutes between coats, let dry 1 hour
22:32 - alcohol wipe, wet sand with P1500 and P2000 until clear coat is smooth with surrounding paint
24:16 - wet sand with P3000 and P5000 using sponge, whole panel
25:26 - polish whole panel

Been watching your channel for like eight years. I've been a truck and heavy equipment mechanic most of my life and I'm an older guy. I've learned so much stuff from you over the years. And watched your production skills and the way you explain things get better and better. It's just like you're talking to a friend showing them how to do stuff. It's also great that you're transferring self-reliance onto the next generation, it's becoming something that's been getting lost in younger people. So your one of my favorite YouTube channels.

My dad is an old school auto-tech (panel beater/spray painter/mechanic/auto-elec) and the amount of time he had taken in people to help them do small stuff like this in educating them on how to learn to fix things for themselves and save a bit of cash was enormous. He was literally you before the internet and had made it his mission to try and help as many customers as possible. He was even running small workshops for youngsters on changing tyres, checking fluids, topping up fluids “how to’s” etc. that’s why your channel has a special place in my heart. He is now 74 and to this day, whilst retired, does the same thing to his grand children and us as well. Keep up the great work and know that my dad is also a viewer and approves of this channel
