What we have done to our forests and oceans is truly unforgivable. Our governments have failed us in every sense of the word. They have the put short term gains of corporations ahead of the long term futures of every living creature, such as ourselves. We cannot sustain this type of destruction and I fear what’s ahead for our future generations.

In this episode of Netflix ND., the most exciting & enigmatic part is obviously that of Chernobyl, for it shows how tenacious & resilient those wild animals & plants or forests are!! Amazing & stupendous!! But tragically the offsprings of the animals would be most likely to be born w/ congenital anomalies owing to the radiation. Moreover, the longevity of the animals is apparently to be shortened on account of some sort of cancer they might develop in the near future. For example, thyroid & hepatic( liver ) carcinomas( cancers) to mention a few.. ( 04 FEB 2021).

I salute all the photographers for the wonderful job they have done. The soothing voice of David is just the best complement to this awesome documentary. I sincerely believe all should watch this video, and only on the big TV screen, not ipad or mobile phone. After watching for a couple of minutes, one feels that one is actually not watching but present at the spot. David takes us from the Siberian forests to the Western Ghats of India to the forests of Madagascar. Wow, such a vast canvas in such a short span of less than an hour. At 17.15, David mentions that it is 700 degrees celsius? How is that possible? May be there is an error in the narration...
