Guys don't take for granted that he could win, you HAVE to vote. Go on Google, type in AGT, click Mat's picture, slide it up to 10, and then hit submit. It's really easy and we shouldn't let him possibly lose because not everyone voted. I spent all of my votes on him and I hope everyone else does too, because he should win but I don't think everyone will vote

3:50 small mistake:
7 Hearts (red) -> A Spade (black) -> 4 Diamonds (red) : So not only "3 Clubs (black)" was in the wrong order :D . And he corrected the problem very fast :D

The two standing next to the guy with the 3 of clubs automatically look at him when the magician speaks out about the card. They shouldn't know who's carrying the odd card. Would've been more believable if they looked around lel.

I watched the video 2 or 3 times and here's what I realized: at first there red side and black side (for the "human deck") and Mel sends people to each side. But what I noticed is that on the R side all people before the switch form a front row and those on the B side form the back row. Then is the switch and then one lady goes to the new B (former R) side on the front row and then all go to the back row. On the new R side all go to a front row. That means that the first 14 people all hold red (except 1 - 3 clubs) and all the rest hold black cards. But they form a different row on each side and that creates the illusion that Mel actually separated them correctly. Look closely - all first 14 people chosen have a red card (except the man with 3 clubs), they are just lined differently on each side. That means that the allegedly random people formed a line behind Mel with all red cards first and all black after. That means they're in on the trick. And Mel actually had 100% chance to get it right, because Matt told them to keep the groups fairly even and the people did the rest simply by lining in the right row.

His comment about how most people couldn't get 10% right, or that 20% to 25% would make Howard psychic really makes no sense. Odds are a person would guess 50% correct just through sheer chance.

In this one, the only thing Mat has to do is:
Arrange the cards in the deck in such way, so that after a cut and a perfect shuffle, the black ones are on top and the red cards on bottom (except for the 3C).
Setup all of his friends on the scene to group in a similar fashion - blacks first and reds second (except for the 3C).
If you want to see some real magic, check Penn and Teller's "Fool Us" show, Shawn Farquhar, etc.

Call him out for whatever your needs and try and figure out his acts, but you people have to admit, he is better at Magic and way more kind hearted and not as cocky as Collins Key.

He messed the trick up at min 3:52 the red 7 was moved from the black pile to the red pile. it was mixed in with the blacks in between ace of spades and ace of clovers.

Trick is easy. Top half of deck is red cards and second half is black. The trick is when he spread the cards he either spread it bottom up or top down which just reverse the black/red. Audience is staged and is in on it.

Well.. I kinda figured it out so if you dont wanna know the trick then I will make a lot of spaces here... if you wanna know or discuss, just extend!
1. For the human cards, he definitely prep with the people. Like tell them whether if they should stay in the back or the front of the line depending on which side they were assigned to go to. Maybe write down the instruction on the cover who knows. But you can see that some people chose to stay in the front of the line or back of the line selectively.
2. For the deck of card, it's a special deck of card where the black cards are slightly smaller. As you can see, when he spread the cards over the table, the black cards always come out first because they are smaller than the red ones. So by the specific way of holding the deck, the black cards would slide out first. It takes practice I'm sure. As you can see, he messed up the 2nd row by accident because this trick is hard to perfectionize it. However, he tricked audience's brain by starting from 2 different directions, one from left side first and other one from right side first. :)

It's the exact same with the cards with Howard. The first half are all black and the second half are all red. Notice how he spreads them out in opposite directions.
Also, notice that the guy with the 3 of clubs is pretty much the only guy who looks down at his card, obviously because he knew he had the one that was "out of place".

Pretty simple. The two parts of the deck he 'shuffled' were already separated in colors, black cards on top of red cards and card 3 positioned in the reds at the first place. That kind of shuffling almost kept them separated in blacks and reds in the full deck. Howard was just guessing randomly and whatever he did the cards would appear in groups of blacks and reds. The color switch was done in purpose at about when Howard and Mel were at the middle of their decks when the color in the normal deck was about to change. The 'magician' showed the two groups of Howard's cards at a different direction (3:42 and 3:48) to make them look like Howard divided them magically. You can see that black ace of hearts in the red group; that was just a minor flaw of the 'magician's' initial shuffle. The people with the big cards were obviously in the act and knew where to stand at the end. The color change allowed to have about the same number of reds and blacks in either side. Card 3 could have been at either side as both have reds (it wouldn't make any difference) and the guy just stood between the red people. You are welcome.
