It's true that at the beginning, the rhythm seems to be a little bit slow and sometimes boring, but the more you keep watching it, the deepest and freshest it becomes. I just watched this because a read a "wired" article about the show being cancelled. I never paid attention to it before but wanted to know what it is about. I think I'll start watching it now ;-). Maybe they'll finish it if the viewer numbers rise sufficiently, with all the fan efforts to save the show that are going on right now.

I went on a 600 mile hike through Spain and this is the only show I watched, huddled in a hostel bed, with a fiery Australian girl and a cool funny Swede. We were all obsessed, crying and chatting lively after each episode as we walked the the Spanish country side. On a long distance hike you are split open/vulnerable, facing the elements, yourself, coming together with strangers, learning to expand your capacity for love and selflessness, learning how big and small the world really is...that we are all connected. Watching this show during a time like that is meta. You have made a mistake. Bring it back.

I have three comments on this now...I finished Pt. I & II just to know that it was cancelled. Does anybody know how we can get Amazon or HBO to get the rights to the series so we can get Pt. III, IV and V as the creators intended. I rather pay a higher suscription on HBO or Amazon than keeping a Netflix account. :c
They do same with such outstanding series, it was really amazing watching this kind of art. The entire crew did a great job but Netflix always lets them down. :c

Just finished the first series, I started watching because of a Google feed listing of underated or interesting series in Netflix.
You know the 'if you like this, then you may like that' type ones.

I had seen the banner/icon and description on Netflix but it was always one that didn't grab me like some others did, you know that sort of you always judge someone in the first five seconds of meeting them kind of way?
Anyway I started watching because I couldn't find anything else and the Google feed recommendation nudged me.

Well I watched the first series and it was a lot more than I expected.. in a good way!

Apart from being very well acted by everyone and Brit's performance is exceptionally good, the story is a changing one that takes you down a rabbit whole narrative that compels you to be drawn into that world.

Part abduction story that becomes so much more than that simple premise.
Part group therapy, part religious ideology, part cult mentality, part super human powers, part afterlife mad professor, part human counselling for the whole world, part space time continuum, part breakfast club, part interpretative dance!

Who knew interpretative dance was so Powerful!!?

This is just after watching the first series!

Can't wait to watch series two and saddened to hear that there apparently won't be a third series, maybe a good thing?
I mean I would rather have a short but good thing than a drawn out thing, remember 'Lost' anyone? (Rhetorical)
Anyway I will see how I feel after the second series I guess.

This show was undersold!

I never really noticed any push or advertising for this, yet now I've watched the first series, I now see all kinds turning up on TV about it from the excellent actor Jason Isaac's?
Btw, yet another English man playing the 'bad guy' role, what's with the American movies fixation with Englishmen bad guys!??
It's either evil English characters or English actors playing evil American characters.
It's like it's corporate policy to not have Americans portray a bad guy!

Anyway, Sorry for the long discourse and rant but just had to say what a great show this is so far, I'm never one for telling things succinctly!

This show needs more advertising and a better trailer etc because if people gave it a chance it's well worth the investment.
