I grew up in the San Francisco Bay area, so I had some Asian friends back in my 20's and I always wondered why they were so hesitant to join our other friends in what was ill advised alcohol consumption. Now I know they may have not only been far wiser, but also possibly had an seeming allergy. Great friends but always soooo sober. Smart.

We're not asian but it happens for me and my dad too. I have less of it when compared to him (he goes full red), but I remember having ears so red and hot that I had to stop drinking just to cool down my ears because they would hurt so much.

I’m 100% European and I flush when I drink alcohol...maybe not too much but definitely in my cheeks and ears.

i once try some alcohol, then my skin turn red all over the body, my body is like burning, then i feel weak. i feel a little drunk at first, but hours later, my body turn itchy all over the place, and it hurt so much that im not even feel drunk at all. i can't even sleep well. and it will stay like that til like 3 days or even 1 week. the worst day of my life.
