Ever since High School days I have been listening to Lady Gaga songs. As a Christian, I must say that some of her songs are very controversial. I guess it is one of the reasons why I still kept listening to her and not just outright shutting her down and her music. And after her full interview describing her pain and all that things she has been through, it made me like her as a person--- a fighter with a kind heart. Now I can say that I am an ally although not a diehard fan hehe.

I feel like the fame has destroyed her mentally. Her rise from 2008 to 2011 was massive and I think the downfall must have affected her a lot. She must be very hard on herself because what she accomplished in the beginning of her career takes some artists decades to achieve and she could not sustain that growth. When you are so high up, there is no place but down but really, she should be proud because she kept pushing her career forward and she is now an icon and legend.

I know this isn't the message, but I can relate to the lyrics. My last relationship was so toxic he wanted so much attention, from other people sending nudes, videos, and he didn't accept me for me. He didnt care how I felt and how it was hurting me. It me took 2 years of putting up with it losing myself not feeling me anymore, for me to build up the courage to leave him. Finally I've found myself again and more myself now than ever. Funny how a song even if its not the same message can take you back to a time in your life.
