He repeated the phrase "The more a phrase is repeated, the more we find it true" a lot.
Is it true :(
For a channel grounded in the scientific method, that claims to be educative, and in a video that tries to deal with the issue of cognitive bias, I am disappointed that it would present fallacious arguments and deceptive evidence.
UM**:
Did I just find an excuse for my bad handwriting?
No***:
Dam i so thirsty after watching this i think i need some refreshing brown carbonated sugar water.
Ca******************:
As usual a great video but all I got from this is that dumb people are happier than smart people
To**:
Maybe there is no cognitive ease mechanism and Derek just make us believe it really exists by repeating this term over and over...
Sn**********:
"The more something is repeated the more it starts to feel true"
Notice how he mentioned this several times throughout the video
Ga****:
I just love it when Dirk from Veristablium puts out a new video.

"Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it."

"The more something is repeated, the more it seems true." The government knows this. just think about Bush and the word "Terror" or "Terrorist" during the entrance to war in Iraq.
Da*********:
I think it might apply also to your channel’s name, after looking at many videos I think I assume that Veritasium exists in the periodic table
Ev********:
At first I didn't agree with this video. But after watching it a few more times, it really starts to make sense
Wait a minute...

After catching 100 zubats, I still don't think they are good...

I’m starting to believe Veritasium may very well be my favorite channel. Now I wonder if it’s simply because I keep watching your videos.

I'm on youtube because of the lures of cognitive ease. Not writing my bachelor's thesis.

... and this is why I detest advertising, and try my hardest to avoid it or be extremely sceptical of the messages they try to push.
er*******:
i'm don't tal english as first language and to me is hard to understand english, so just to understand what is said i was already thinking hard, all cognitive ease tests failed on me. because was thinking hard to simply read the normal text.

When I got slightly ear rapped by the bad contrast video I immediately started smiling and I felt joy, thank you hundreds of meme compilations.
