Playtime Comments : [TEDx Talks] TEDxVancouver - Nardwuar - Do It Yourself!

Sh***********:
Lmao at 15:40 he wants to hand over the mic to someone for a response to that insult. Muscle memory kicking in

Jo**********:
14:44 Oh my god he's such an interviewer that when he sees an audience member laughing he instinctively points the mic at them. He was born to interview.

Di**************:

2:02 Damn!!! Nobody answered. I literally thought nickel. Now is that because I think like our hero? Or because it was the first word I thought of? Like cheese then burger, or red then blue. Either way, I would’ve shouted nickel and gone down in history.

Ta**********:

This guy might very seriously be one of the most inspiring, genuine, positive humans that have ever lived on this Earth. There isnt a single negative characteristic or personal trait that I have personally ever seen him portray. He honestly represents the very VERY best in humanity, in many ways.
His first filmed interview was at 17 yrs old? Not many ppl know what they want to be at that age. He CHOSE something he enjoyed (REGARDLESS if he was good at it, or not) and pursued that career with his 100% focus and attention, rather than with one-foot-in, one-foot-out type of attitude. He refused to fail at it. He also refuses to let ANY of his interviewee's possible bad day, bad attitude, or mean comments bring him down in any way, and continues bringing his energy, potentially maybe even changing their attitude during the interview, cheering them up, or leaving them with a much higher opinion of him than they had coming in. And the whole time, his biggest motivator being KNOWLEDGE, because he just wants to learn things about people, interesting or not, and of ANY topic. Knowledge is power. He wasnt chasing money, wasnt chasing fame, and wasnt chasing someone ELSE's dream that they wanted him to do, or have chosen for him. Everything this man became, and has achieved, he did so from 100% his own ideas, his own decisions, and his own passion.

AND, as if this comment isnt already LONG ENOUGH, instead of copying/following the blueprint of what EVERY traditional reporter/interviewer does, questions they ask, etc. He scrapped the "how to become an interviewer" blueprints, and made 100% his OWN style of it, keeping parts he enjoyed, ditching the parts he didnt, and that leads us to the current Nardwuar we see today. I literally cant think of a bad thing this guy has ever said or done
