Os**********:

I'm only 20, but I practice mindfulness every day for about 15 minutes. Whenever I mention it to other people, they almost get offended "oh, why would you do that? Isn't that what middle aged women do?". There's such a wrongful stereotype towards it which couldn't be further from the truth. I've never understood the hesitation to try it, no one has ever tried meditation and though "well, that ruined my life, never again.". Give it a go, it can help your life in ways you wouldn't imagine.

No**************:

Meditation has great relevance for sports as well. You get more in tune with your instincts and just playing without thinking, often leads to greater results. For me personally, the feeling of playing is that much greater and you really get to live the game in a whole other way. More players should really look more into meditating and the mindfulness!!

Lu************:
I wonder if he learned how to juggle just for this example.

This guy is brilliant, he really does know what he is talking about. I've just started using his Headspace app, it's only a few pounds a month to subscribe to and it is excellent.

I've been meditating everyday for only 2 weeks and already feel SO MUCH better. it is just stupidly amazing. i'm getting addicted to it (former hard drug user). Can't believe its gonna last long but i am definitely very excited about meditation and mindfulness. The downside of the whole thing is that none of my friends want to listen to me and they just sarcastically go away from the topic. Everyone needs to know this. It is magical.

Di*************:
This video is 10 minutes. Mission accomplished.

We***************:

Thank you Andy for Headspace :)! It’s life changing :)

CD***:

Im watching the video, i close my eyes and i feel like im meditating on his app

Ra*********:

You will not get far with 10 minutes of mindfulness meditation. Sounds a bit judgemental but it won't take long before you give up on it and forgetting. Jon Kabat Zinn explains mindfulness meditation in greater detail perhaps checking him out.

Ge****:
Going to start meditating. Update every 5 days.

ma*****:
Pound for pound greatest juggling monk?

St*******:

So this is the face behind the voice haunting me in YouTube Ads lately. He even used the exact same phrases!

Sa*****************:

When you realise he's the guy on your meditation app XD (Headspace)

An***********:
I want his shirt

sn*****:

I love his voice. I actually watch the Headspace ads because of it. Pleasant little bonus before a video.

gi**********:
He definitely goes to the Gym
He trains his body and his mind

Ca**********:
"Just take a moment to" is something i've heard him say a lot

JC*****:
It's nice to hear this perspective of medication from a logical point of view as apposed spiritual, although both hold great value

T9*****:

Is he bulletproof?

Ti*************:
This video focuses on a very important aspect of life that we (as a society) are seldom taught. My only problem is with the choice of the term 'nothing'. It's impossible to do 'nothing', and we really must have something to focus on. I believe the term 'meta' is a more accurate substitute for 'nothing' in this context.

To focus on the thoughts you have, that you are having them (as opposed to giving your thoughts authority as to what you should be doing) is what you might call 'meta-thought'. For example; if you have a thought about what you should eat, to undergo the process of 'meta-thought' is to think about what it is to choose something to eat, why you choose certain foods, etc. rather than allowing the thought of choosing a food take precedence (which would be to think 'okay, let's get started on picking a food').

Mindfullness, in the context of this video, is applying what could be called 'meta-focus' to the process of 'meta-thought'. Whereas 'meta-thought' in the previous example would be to wonder about the aspects of what it is to be hungry, 'meta-focus' turns your concentration to simply that you are hungry, and allowing the feeling of hunger itself to be witnessed, without committing any energy to actively dealing with the feeling of hunger or even what it is.
