This time, I will review the popular YouTube videos.

These days, even if it's good to watch on YouTube, sometimes people skip it or don't watch it if it's too long.

When you watch Youtube, do you scroll and read the comments first?

To save your busy time, why don't you check out the fun contents, summary, and empathy comments of popular YouTube videos first and watch YouTube?

Facebook is ok, but mostly shit posts, ads, and memes. Twitter is garbage. Instagram is kinda unnecessary. Snapchat is useless. YouTube is better than tv though.

Xx*********************************:
but 2012 had the best memes

Ap*********:

Idolatry is the internet

Ni********:

At first I thought "oh no now I'm gunna watch this and have to try to quit the internet too." But instead I saved myself a year offline and learned exactly what I've been looking for, finding a balance. Now I just have to learn how to not reach for my phone so often. Maybe i'll actually try to be bored

El******:

I stopped watching when he said he played video games in his year off!!!That is basically in the same category of the internet

Le********:

A great tip to any of you reading this: Whenever you want to really do something with 100% of your attention and focus just turn off your internet and phone. I usually plan my days in the evenings. Before going to bed I sit down and think what are the most important things I should do tomorrow. And during the time I do them I just go offline. It helps a lot! Try it and you will never fucking regret doing so!

Pa********:
Facebook was making me depressed. I am glad I deactivated my account a few months ago.

Bo*******:

If there was no internet, I would be sleeping right now

Hi*************:

What I saw it doing was not being able to delay gratification and with that nothing seems exciting anymore. No newness and no imaging for myself what that would be like. He's right about it being overwhelming.

“YouTube isn’t like other social media. I use it only for learning”, says Tim 24 who has an exam in a week but he’s up at 3 in the morning watching a YouTube video he didn’t search for.

DA******:
Deleted my facebook.  It's the best thing I've done.  Nobody constantly messaging me!  I can finally just live my hermit lifestyle and be happy doing whatever I want :)  If they really want to reach me, they have my cell.

Na****:

How many people were mindlessly clicking on video after video and found this? Do you remember the things you watched/read 30minutes ago?

Nu***********:

Internet is great, it helps me a lot, but it is also brutal, it ruins my life.
I couldn't live the way u used to.
Ok maybe I have to try to off line for a day

no*****:

I deleted all my social medias, and now I just use internet to study. That's the best thing I've ever made

Fu******************:
I'm here and watching this on my internet! Crazy!

Me****:

This was a great talk, but really there are many "distractions" that we use and we always have. I used to watch television 8 hours a day before the internet. Too much of anything is usually not good. :)

Ga******:
gypsy crusader???

Je************:

I'll have a month offline, not because I want, it's because I don't have money this month to pay the internet! So I'm here just getting ready. ;)

me************:
I was recently 3 months without a phone and laptop. Went walking in the countryside. Listened to old vinyls on a record player. Read books. Magazines. Watched movies. Played guitar. All the stress in my shoulders and lower back disappeared. Amazing experience.

in*********:

Just deleted all social media, well besides YouTube of course.

Ever since Facebook took over Instagram and Whatsapp...people have been more addicted to these platforms..remember when Instagram was just about images! Don't waste your time..life is better without these things..people are getting dumber by the day..read books...exercise your brain..let it work..life is beyond likes and followers...social validation will only satiate your mind for a few seconds! You don't even know what it is doing to you until ten years later..you realize you wasted your life trying to impress others who didn't matter anyway!

fi*******:
he will be high on life when he finds out about drafting. that talk could have been 5 minutes easy.

K*:

i deleted my instagram account recently and its the best thing i ever done !!

Ju*******:

I don't have twitter, facebook, IG and snapchat. I only watch YouTube vids and comedy sitcoms. I exceed in high school; academics, volunteer hours, extra curricular activities, etc. I also read a lot.

If you can, just stop using social media as often. Believe me, it's a good thing and it helps.

Ca********:
I closed my instagram app and it felt so good immediately! I promise, shut down your instagram on your phone once a day, feels so great.

Cd****:

I miss the time where internet was only available on my desktop. Having it in my pocket is way to tempting

Ma**********:
Playing computer games as substitute for quitting the internet is cheating.

The internet is useful; social media is what's toxic. I have felt lost and have been contemplating in deleting all my social media since not only does it distract me from being productive like him, but I end up having a lower self-esteem or get random anxiety because of the social pressure when it comes to Likes and Followers. When you become so engrossed in it, you start to depend on it to define you. A platform to represent you. It is is the cycle of wanting to be visible and included that does not let me unplug. It definitely has its perks and advantages, but I feel like once you're addicted, you start losing the person you are in real life and your real connection to the world and people. I think the secret is to know when to post, when to use it, and it is all about balance, priorities, and time management. All three things that I suck at ever since MySpace. I rather focus on my family, education, well-being and actual hobbies. But shout out to me for not posting on the daily on Instagram like before, for reducing my Facebook usage and for giving up Snapchat which was hard, but liberating.

Th***********:
This was very refreshing....loved the honesty. Something I'd been wondering about for awhile...should I go offline. The internet is a master at distraction, but I like the realization he had that we are the ones who need to get better at being present in our life because there is always another distraction, whether it be tv, video games, a dvd collection, magazine subscriptions, gossip, or our own thoughts that can twirl and repeat and get lost in. Here's my plan: I need to set goals and boundaries...especially if I have a big slot of free time...so I don't squander it in "free information" indulgence. I literally have to set the timer on my phone for 20 minutes or whatever before checking my email, to remind myself to get back on track and pull back my attention from the internet. Otherwise, 2 hours flies by in a blink. Thank you!

mo************:

I’ve also realized that when you meet people in person for the first time you have a deeper connection than if you were to meet them online. You tend to hang out with them more in person as well. I’ve met ppl online who I’ve never seen in person lose contact and eventually never speak to them again. I’ve met ppl in person talk every now and then but the connection is still there without social media being the middle man. That’s what social media really is the middle man between the real world and the virtual world.
