Been 10 years. Gotta scrub for new info every once in a while. This repost of the original has never been done before. The original WAS sort of grainy and old. I see the flaws in it now, but I would love to see this genious, NIKOLA TESLA level tech, come to the masses

le**********:

This is probably the sort of wearable technology Alan Sugar expected from his Apprentice teams in 2014, rather than a wooly jumper with some fairy-lights and a webcam.

Tr********:
So many years have passed and look where he has reached now - Global VP of Samsung..

GO Pranav!!

Bo********:

You never own "the thing."
"The thing" owns YOU.
The future is even less Life-affirming than the past.
How holly jolly these people were, 10 years ago, before Facebook sold 'em all out.

Pr************:

Pranav Indian guy also that's my name "PRANAV"

Aa********:
This is awesome! can´t wait until this is mainstream.

da***********:
one of the coolest new things i have seen in a long time. Wow. Amazing

Ro*******:
That's such amazing technology and ridiculously cool. It is effectively translating our own world into a computer and then relaying that information to us. I can't wait until that is produced. I did find her last sentence funny though... "another ten years and we may have a sixth sense brain implant". I think the brain implants will probably not be for many many more years to come :-) Very nice work MIT and Pranav.

Ni***********:
This is absolutely amazing! Makes me feel a little dumb but really exciting

li******:
ummm I actually do google toilet paper brands immediately before I purchase

Ma*************:

Be**********:
Great. Indeed it reminded me of those Microsoft Tables.

This is great!

in******:
I can wait. Release a super version. :)

Lo********************:
The only limitations is the ones we place on our own minds.

Bu******:
(part 1) Well, the problem is that that takes time, and it is tiring. If bringing your computer or smartphone with you, it will take time to Google something, to take a picture or to write something down. Your computer have to start up, you have to stretch in a weird way to bring out your smartphone out of your pocket, you've gotta press a lot of buttons and so forth. With this thing, all this would be less time- and space consuming.

I can see the future in this thing.

su***************:

Ma*****:

I agree the standing ovation was a bit much.. but if I'd been there, I would've given him a standing ovation too, just out of shock that she's actually giving her student the credit.. usually those kind of people just take their grad students' work.

It's not so much important for what it is, but the possibilities it opens. If you look at it as a major step to something bigger, it's actually quite a bit deal.

Ah**********:

woooooooooow

Ge***********:
wow man he cleaver
but you can do some of it by camspace

gu******:
Personally, i'd rather have a sunglasses interface than surface projection. Anyway, i remember seing this and hope something like it will become avalible soon.
