Ji**************:

Hi! I am the violinist Ji-Hae Park. I've been watching and experiencing (by doing concerts, meeting people all around the world!) how many people can listen and watch how powerful music can be through TED.
I just want to express my deepest thank to TED and you people, watching this. Especially these days, musicians affected by this horrible COVID19, I appreciate the opportunity sharing my story and the power of music through this kind of platform. I don't know how I can thank YOU and TED enough! It is..... like I said in this video... indescribable! I just.... wanted to have said that at least once after..... 7 years... that I am still watching that and almost cry by the gratefulness that I had this kind of huge(!!!) opportunity to share. Thank you TED and thank you, GUYS!

Tr********:

I cried during the 2nd piece. Classical music should be played and experienced. There's nothing else like it #HeartStrings

Mo*************:

Me: expect her to play something calm

Her: Vivaldi - The Four Seasons Summer “Storm”

Me: jumpscare

CS*****:

Genuinely sublime. This sort of music to me hints at the meaning of life

He********:
Ok she is ABSOLUTELY amazing! But I seriously can't stop looking at her funny (and don't think I'm being racist because she's Asian, because that's not it at all) I can't stop thinking that the way she's moving when shes playing makes her look like a marionette doll.

Ca**********************************:
This is EXACTLY why I'm learning violin at 29. My heart aches at the sound of this piece. So moving. Thankyou.

Qu***********:

If u like this and u like anime watch "The Lie You Told In April"

Dh*******:

Is anybody else moving as she moves?
No just me?! Okay then

mi***********:

Ha*****:

Her music make my heart smile :) Thank you Ji-Hae for sharing your amazing talent !

cu**************:
Fabulous and great for her! I love music and played the violin and guitar but I had an injury ( impinged neck nerve) that caused me to stop playing. THAT brought a depression that has never left me. This was 13 years ago and I still can only barely play, so I don't. I wonder what Ji-Hae Park would have to say to me?

Me*:

Her accompanist is amazing as well. Her message is so clear through her performace, I had a tough time to control my breathing.

Se****:

Amazing talent.

Ma********:
Amazing. The best instrument ever

vi*******:
It is not a wonder that you gained much more recognition now.
You are a completely profficient violinist, combined with being a young woman. There are many of each of these, so you may dismiss it as meaningless, and still be able to be depressed. And there are quite a few who have both these things, and don't have much recognition.
However you have that little extra, together with emotion and great heart. So you lack nothing.
Profficiency in violin requires freedom to practice, for a number of years, by the way. Good air and sunlight, good ballanced diet and health etc.
But it seems to me, that any young woman is in itself the main ingredient for fame, in this day and age. And this is something which comes naturally to about 50% of the population. Say, up till about age 25.
